Third inmate in a week dies at Oklahoma State Penitentiary By The Associated Press July 28, 2009 An inmate at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary has died after a fight with his cell mate, days after two other inmates at the facility were killed in violence in their cells. Kelvin Ford, 26, was found dead in his cell Friday night and his cell mate was moved to a different unit at the prison pending an investigation, Warden’s Assistant Terry Crenshaw said Monday. The cause of death remains under investigation, but Ford suffered injuries indicative of a fight, he said. Read More. |
