Rio Grande City, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande City Station seized 508 pounds marijuana yesterday south of Sullivan City, Texas. Border Patrol agents on patrol near the Los Ebanos port of entry observed several men emerge from the river carrying what appeared to be sugar sacks and load them onto a black Volkswagen Jetta. The agents trailed the vehicle to a remote area where the driver accelerated and rammed the vehicle into a cluster of mesquite and prickly pear. The driver abandoned his vehicle and fled into the dense vegetation. Discovered within the vehicle were 68 bricks of marijuana with a street value of $406,400.00. DEA assumed custody of the vehicle and the narcotics. To report suspicious activity, contact the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sectors’ toll free telephone number at 1-800-863-9382. |

He has blue eyes. Cold like steel. His legs are wide. Like tree trunks. And he has a shock of red hair, red, like the fires of hell. His antics were known from town to town as he was a droll card and often known as a droll farceur. Hamilton Lindley with his madcap pantaloon is a zany adventurer and a cavorter with a motley troupe of buffoons.
