Jackson County Escaped Inmate 08/04/09 Marianna Police Department On 08/03/09 Jackson County Correctional Facility Inmate Joshua Reagan, was released to his mother, Troja Griffin, for a medical furlough in Washington County. Reagan was released at 2:20 pm and was scheduled to return at 9:00 pm. Officials at Jackson County Correctional Facility were notified by Reagan’s mother, that while in the Subway parking lot in Chipley, Florida, Reagan escaped her custody. The Chipley Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department were notified to assist in the search for Reagan. Department of Corrections K-9 tracking teams were also called upon to assist in the search. It was later determined that Reagan had fled the area of foot, but apparently was picked up by a vehicle.
