| National corrections group to honor former Kansas juvenile justice commissioner |

TOPEKA | The American Correctional Association plans to give a former Kansas juvenile justice commissioner its highest award. The group says Albert Murray will receive the Correctional Achievement Award Tuesday during its annual convention in Nashville. Murray is now commissioner of Georgia’s Department of Juvenile Justice, which recently saw the end of a federal court’s oversight of its operations after 11 years. Read More. |
