| Judges Approve Budgets, Salaries |

District and county court-at-law judges voted unanimously Thursday to approve the annual budgets and salaries for the county auditor's office and the Community Supervision and Corrections Department. Judge Jack Skeen of the 241st District Court praised supervision director Gerald Hayden and his staff of probation officers as the council does this council have an official name? of judges unanimously approved a resolution honoring the department's service to the community. The words "exemplary" and "distinguished organization" describing the department and its staff highlighted the resolution acknowledging the staff's professionalism within the community that has led to decreased recidivism rates within the county. Skeen said the judges greatly appreciate the probation officers and staff for their commitment to the community.
