| Funeral home owner gets a year in jail for stealing body parts |

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A funeral home owner was sentenced to a year in jail for allowing the unauthorized harvest of body parts from two corpses for sale to a biomedical company. Serrell Gayton, owner of Serenity Hills Funeral Home in Rochester, was sentenced on Thursday. In addition to jail time he has to pay a thousand-dollar fine. Read More. |
