Western Kentucky Correctional Complex gained a new CEO on Wednesday. A man on the prison’s staff for the past 20 years was named to the post. Kentucky Department of Corrections Commissioner LaDonna Thompson announced the promotion of Bryan Henson to warden at WKCC in Lyon County. Henson replaces Becky Pancake who announced her retirement earlier this month after 31 years of service to the department. Henson has been a deputy warden at the prison since 2005 and assumed his new position as warden on Wednesday. Henson began his corrections career as a correctional officer at WKCC in July 1989. He was promoted to classification and treatment officer in 1990 and classification and treatment officer II in 1999. Read More. |
