Officials meet on juvenile crime

Several county and city officials have been holding meetings to come up with ways to prevent juvenile crime.

The second meeting was held today and they asked state representative Richard Raymond to be present.

At the meeting they expressed their concerns with Raymond on how the system needs tougher penalties. According to county attorney Ana Laura Cavazos she wants to see an increase in community service time and tougher sentencing.
