| Bi-Annual Meeting Focuses on H1N1 |

Specialist from all over the region gathered at the Southeastern Public Health Department Tuesday for their biannual event and this year it's all about the H1N1 virus. The flu season is now in full gear, that's why at the Infection Connection Meeting the focus was on swine flu and ways to prevent it. Specialists from all over the region from hospitals, nursing homes, community health centers and even correctional facilities were invited to talk about ways they can protect themselves and the people they care for. The health department says the meetings are important to allow each of the entities participating to share ideas and information. Read More. |
