| Corrections program gives away S.C. trees |

Cities, counties, schools, neighborhood associations and other public entities on Wednesday picked up free trees grown by the S.C. Department of Corrections and PalmettoPride, South Carolina's anti-litter and beautification organization. Almost 3,000 trees, including crape myrtles, river birch, Leyland Cypress and dogwoods, were passed out to 56 recipients at Corrections' horticulture depot in Columbia. Read More. |
