Roman Polanski has swapped his prison cell for a hospital bed to undergo medical tests. The director is being held in a Swiss prison on a US arrest warrant for having sex with a 13-year-old girl. His lawyer Herve Temime said the 76-year-old's condition was "not of exceptional gravity". However, he has previously expressed concern over his health, calling him "worn out". Polanski was taken from the prison in the north-eastern city of Winterthur to an unnamed Zurich hospital on Friday, the Swiss tabloid Blick reported. He had to stay in bed in hospital to treat a medical problem which pre-dated his arrest, according to a legal source quoted by the newspaper.
