| Lockdown follows assaults |

A lockdown was continuing Monday night at Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility following a morning assault at the medium-security prison just west of Canon City. The incident occurred during breakfast, said Katherine Sanguinetti, Colorado Department of Corrections director of public affairs. "Two offenders assaulted two staff and a third staff was assaulted coming to the aid of the other two," said Sanguinetti.
