| Inmate escapes from Pearl River |

Mississippi Department of Corrections inmate Waylon Lee Strickland escaped around 4:30 p.m. Sunday from the Pearl River County Jail. Authorities are searching for Strickland, 31, who is serving a three-year sentence from Greene County for possession of precursors and possession of a controlled substance. Strickland is 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs 220 pounds. He has green eyes, blond hair and tattoos on his arms and back, including a Mississippi map tattoo on his back. Read More. |
