Consultant reports 'lethal weaponry' at Donaldson MONTGOMERY - A human rights group Wednesday accused the state Department of Corrections of failing to accurately report the number and seriousness of inmates assaulted in Alabama prisons. Sarah Geraghty, an attorney for the Atlanta-based Southern Center for Human Rights, said statistics posted by the department on its Web site on the number of critical incidents at each state prison - including deaths, inmate-on-inmate assaults, fights and sexual assaults - are inaccurate and under-reported.
