McAuley New Correctional Industries Manager at Wyoming Department of Corrections The Wyoming Department of Corrections announces that Lynn McAuley has recently accepted the position of Manager of Correctional Industries for the department. She replaces Billy Carter who retired in September 2009. Ms. McAuley has more than 26 years of executive level administrative experience covering jails and prisons in four states. Most recently she served as the Workforce Development Administrator for the Arizona Department of Corrections from 2007 to 2008. Previously she spent three years as General Manager (CEO) for Correctional Industries at the Idaho Department of Corrections; ten years as Correctional Industries Division Administrator for the Hawaii Department of Public Safety responsible for prison and jails where she was named the Manager of the Year in 1994; and four years as Correctional Industries Division Director and eight years as Assistant Division Director for the Washington State Department of Corrections where she was the recipient of Washington State Governor's Distinguished Management Leadership Award in 1988. Lynn earned her Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Boise State University and her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickenson University. She graduated from the Strategic Planning course for State Executives at Duke University in 1990; the Executive Management Program at the University of Washington Graduate School of Public Affairs in 1989; and the Washington State Career Executive Program in Olympia Washington in 1989. Lynn is also a certified auditor for American Correctional Association, Standards and Accreditation. |
