BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts state police say an inmate who fled a minimum-security prison after being indicted in a 1996 rape and home invasion has been recaptured.

Police said Monday that Manson Brown was arrested Sunday after officers in DeKalb County, Georgia, learned he was at a gas station.

The 51-year-old gave officers an alias listed on his arrest warrant. He will be returned to Massachusetts.

He was serving a 10-year sentence for home invasion and armed robbery.
