We have told you about the proposal to release thousands of jail inmates in Tennessee to cut the budget. It was a worst case scenario by the Corrections Commissioner to meet the governor's budget cut proposals. And it would only apply to non-violent felons. But the Commissioner has since resigned. And now Governor Bredesen has officially said he is rejecting the idea.
