| Authorities hunt for armed-robbery inmate |

GREAT FALLS - Authorities are looking for a 26-year-old man who walked away from the Great Falls Prerelease Center on Sunday evening. When he was 18, Mike Daniels was sentenced to 45 years in prison with five years suspended for the armed robbery of a 15-year-old Great Falls boy in 2000. The boy's mother said her son did not testify against Daniels because he was threatened with death. Daniels, who served prison time for assaulting an officer at the Pine Hills youth detention center in Miles City, has been arrested 93 times. As a juvenile, he was convicted of nine felonies and 71 misdemeanors. He also was convicted of three felonies as an adult. Read More. |
