| Prison Guard Injured At SCI Fayette |

LABELLE (KDKA) ― A state prison guard was injured during an incident between guards and prisoners Tuesday night. The incident happened at SCI Fayette State Prison in LaBelle shortly before 8 p.m. The injured guard was flown to UPMC Mercy Hospital and their condition is unknown at this time. SCI Fayette is a maximum security prison. At the facility, there is a long-term segregation unit where they put prisoners proven to be too dangerous to be held anywhere else in the state correctional system.
