Mitchell Jerome Mack is in the Cumberland County Jail as an absconder from parole and on assault and battery and common law robbery warrants from Statesville. Investigator Crystal Scott said Fayetteville authorities located Mack on Tuesday night and took him into custody. Scott said they were able to connect Mack to the crime, but Cumberland County authorities were unable to locate him until Tuesday. Mack was paroled from the N.C.
