OTTUMWA — Authorities continued to search on Sunday for Robert Thomas Andrews, 29, who escaped from the Ottumwa Work Release Facility. At 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Wapello County Jail officials reported Andrews still hadn’t been located. The Department of Corrections staff at the local facility had to put Andrews on escape status at 8:35 p.m. Friday after he failed to return to the facility from a job-seeking furlough. Andrews is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5’10,” weighs 207 pounds and has tattoos on his abdomen, left ankle, left arm and right calf. Read More. |
