Maryville, Mo. -

Matthew H. Hager appeared before Judge Roger Prokes Monday on a motion to revoke probation. Hager admitted to violating a number of conditions of his probation. Hager had previously entered a guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance.

Judge Prokes gave Hager two choices — to attend a 120-day substance abuse program and return to drug court when it is completed or to serve his previously imposed sentence. After taking the matter into consideration, Hager said he would serve the time in prison.

Judge Prokes revoked Hager's probation because of the violations and ordered him to serve the four-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Judge Prokes advised Hager that drug and alcohol treatment is available in the DOC if he chooses to avail himself of it.

Jason E. Woosley appeared in court Monday for a plea hearing. Woosley entered a plea of guilty on the class C felony of second degree statutory sodomy — having deviate sexual activity with a person under the age of 17.

Woosley was found guilty based on his plea. A Sentencing Assessment Report has been ordered and sentencing is to be at 9 a.m. Feb. 22.
