DICKINSON, N.D. -- Three of four Alabama fugitives involved in a standoff with law officers in North Dakota have been sentenced. Judge Zane Anderson on Monday accepted plea agreements involving the three and denied motions from Angela Mink and Joshua Southwick to withdraw guilty pleas. Southwick, Mink, her brother Ashton Mink, and his wife, Jacquelin faced felony charges in a Dickinson video store robbery and a shootout with police at a rural ranch. They were captured June 6. Authorities say Southwick and Ashton Mink had escaped from a Perry County, Alabama, prison on May 25 with help from the two women. Read More. |
