A Fort Collins man already wanted by police for escaping from the Department of Corrections is being sought in connection with a Sunday morning stabbing that left a woman hospitalized. Police are looking for John B. Jimenez Jr., 38, in connection with a domestic violence-related stabbing and assault that occurred on the 2000 block of Huntington Circle. According to dispatch recordings, police were called to the home about 6 a.m. by a woman, 41, who said she had been attacked by a shirtless man who fled before officers arrived. The woman, whom police have not publicly identified, remains hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to a police statement.
