| Minimum Security Inmate Walks Away |

(Manchester, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate walked away from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester. On February 2, 2010, Anthony Ray Perkins, 25, of Nashua, was given permission to leave the facility this morning to seek employment and failed to report back at his scheduled time of 2:45 pm. He was placed on walkaway status at 8:30 pm. He is described as a white male, with short brown hair, and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his abdomen, back, cheek, right forearm, chest, left hand, right hand, neck, and upper right arm. He goes by the nickname of Syko. He is currently serving a 3 to 7 year sentence for burglary and previously served a 3 to 7 year sentence for robbery out of Hillsborough County Superior Court South of Nashua. He entered the New Hampshire State Prison on May 25, 2006 and was eligible for parole on February 21, 2009. He will reach the end of his sentence on January 23, 2013.
