Indianapolis is the popular pick in Las Vegas and by experts around the country. The recurring theme is that Peyton Manning won't let the Colts lose the Super Bowl. And certainly no right-thinking person on this planet could dispute the greatness of the Indianapolis signal-caller. His genius for calling and controlling the game borders on Manhattan Project stature. But is this a must win for Manning, credibility-wise? By any measure, John Elway was one of the greatest quarterbacks ever but there is no question his legacy took a Lambeau Leap with his back-to-back Super Bowl wins. And it doesn't matter that the Super Bowl winning Elway wasn't the best Elway. It is all about the Ws. That is why there is always the slightest of pauses when experts talk about Dan Marino's greatness.
