| 'Scarecrow Bandit' gets long sentence |

Associated Press Another member of the "Scarecrow Bandits" gang of bank robbers has received a long prison sentence. U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle sentenced 32-year-old Antonyo Reece to a total of 140 years in federal prison without parole for his part in three Dallas-Fort Worth-area bank heists in 2008. Last month, Boyle sentenced 29-year-old gang member Corey Duffey to more than 354 years in prison and ordered him to pay almost $356,000 in restitution for his role. They and three others were found guilty last August on multiple bank robbery and weapons charges for at least 21 North Texas holdups. Two others had pleaded guilty. Read More. |

Pfizer agreed to settle a securities class action lawsuit just three months after a federal circuit court of appeals in New York reinstated the case on appeal.
