| 'Vallucos' members accused in jail riot |

Members of the “Vallucos” gang are expected to face the music after being accused for starting a riot at the Cameron County Jail. Ernesto Treviño is one several members accused of participating in a riot that took place at the Carrizalez-Rucker Detention Center back in October. Treviño was formally charged on a third-degree felony riot charge on Monday afternoon. He and other members of the Rio Grande Valley-based gang are accused of damaging the light fixtures and plumbing at the jail. Court records show that the group barricaded themselves and even rushed the guards when they entered their cell. Two jail guards were injured during the incident.
