| Inmate Found Guilty of Threatening Guard |

UNEE Correctional Centre inmate Buckley Reeves was angry at a prison guard, believing the officer was responsible for him being behind bars longer than he needed to be. During an interview with another officer on October 22 last year, Reeves let fly with threats laced with obscene language that led him to being charged with stalk, harass or intimidate a law officer. Reeves pleaded not guilty to the offence but was found guilty yesterday after a hearing before magistrate Anthony Murray. It was alleged Reeves told the officer that when he got out of prison he was going to find the other person, smash them and jump on their head.
