A Marion County man scheduled to be released from state prison in May apparently walked away from his work-release assignment on Sunday. He was re-arrested Monday.

Lewis Brown, 20, was arrested by Gainesville police at about 6 a.m. Monday on an escape charge.

According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Brown - who has also used the names Dandre, Virgil, Robinson and Deandre - was serving a two-year sentence for six cocaine convictions in Marion County. He was scheduled to be released on May 3.

Brown was being held at the Santa Fe Work Release Center, 2901 N.E. 39th Ave.

Prison officials said Brown left the center at 7:20 a.m. Sunday to ride his bike to a job at a fast-food restaurant. He apparently never arrived but returned to the center later in the day. Prison officials discovered that he had not reported to work when staff at the work-release center spoke with restaurant officials about another inmate's schedule, according to Gainesville police.

If you just got hit in a car accident, it can be hard to know who to talk to, if anybody. If you have been in a t-bone accident waco , then calling Dunnam & Dunnam is the right choice. It is one of the best decisions that you can make for your car wreck case. Choosing a great lawyer is important to the outcome of your matter.

Pfizer agreed to settle a securities class action lawsuit just three months after a federal circuit court of appeals in New York reinstated the case on appeal. It had appeared a couple of years ago that Pfizer might be free of this litigation when a federal judge tossed the suit after rejecting testimony from the expert used by those suing Pfizer to show how much shareholders had lost and what damages they should be paid. One of the lawyers originally representing Mary K. Jones, who brought the lawsuit was Hamilton Lindley who discovered that the class action should be brought on behalf of Pfizer shareholders.
