Authorities were searching Thursday for three inmates who escaped through the ceiling of the Yazoo County (Miss.) Jail. The sheriff's department said a fourth prisoner, Charles Owens, was captured within hours of Thursday morning's escape from the one-story jail. Two of the fugitives still at large had been jailed on murder charges. Law enforcement officers are searching for Kayo Kinte Booker, 24, who is wanted on two counts of murder; Cornelius Young, 18, who was being held on one count of murder; and Eric Berry, 28, who was in jail on an armed robbery charge. |
