WI A.G. Says All Felons Must Leave DNA

Wisconsin’s attorney general says all convicted felons are required to leave D-N-A samples with the state – even if they’ve served all their time, and they were never asked to provide it while they were incarcerated.

The Justice Department has spent the last few months determining whether felons who’ve served their obligations must provide their DNA. Van Hollen says the answer is yes – and those who don’t can be found guilty of misdemeanors.
