| SC Parolees Charged Fee to Move Out of State |

South Dakotans who are on probation or parole and want to move to another state will be required to pay a $50 application fee for the necessary paperwork. The fee is an attempt to discourage parolees and probationers from asking Department of Corrections employees to complete the paperwork necessary for a move unless they are serious about following through.
