| Escapee Flees in Cab, Recaptured |

BRIDGETON — A resident of Kintock House escaped from the halfway house facility Friday morning, but was caught 25 minutes later. Kenneth Burrell, 29, fled the Burlington Road facility at 8:05 a.m. and was seen getting into a cab. The cab was pulled over and Burrell attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended by a Department of Corrections investigator. He had been incarcerated in April 2006 in Monmouth County on seven separate charges for terms ranging from four to eight years. His convictions included drug, weapons, burglary and assault offenses.
