| Escapee Thought to Still Be in Area |

The South Carolina Department of Corrections is asking the public's help in finding an escapee who walked away from an Aiken facility March 2. Brandon McDonald fled the minium-security Lower Savannah Pre-Release Center in Aiken last week. He is believed to be traveling between Aiken and Greenville with his common-law wife, Michelle Cooper, and their 8-month-old son. They have been traveling in a 1997 green Toyota Camry with South Carolina tag FFG 895, according to a news release. McDonald is considered armed and dangerous. He was convicted of assault and battery in Greenwood County and began serving a four year, one month sentence September 2009, prison officials said. Read More. |
