| 21 Arrested in Orlando Fraud Ring |

Authorities are searching for an Orlando woman who led a fraud and identity theft ring that operated throughout Central Florida. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced today that it had arrested 21 people in connection with the case, but 21 others, including ringleader Vanessa Rideau, are still wanted. The department's Orlando Regional Operations Center began investigating after a local credit union filed a complaint. The investigation revealed that Rideau, 41, recruited people to open accounts at the credit union. When the recruits received their ATM cards, they would sell the cards and PINs to her for a fee. She would then deposit a fraudulent check and make a quick withdrawal. When the check didn't clear, the credit union would contact the account holder, who would say the card had been stolen. Authorities already have arrested Remon Daniel Anselme, 30; Eugenia Burns, 31; Latoya Chambers, 34; Quincy Chambers, 20; Brittany Davis, 23; Ashley Gaskin, 21; Walter Giles, 25; Samuel Griffin, 34; Travis Jenkins, 34; Clarence Mincey, 31; Adna Mompremier, 28; Jasmine Mullins, 32; Melody Nelson, 32, Michelle Oliver, 32; Constance Patterson, 41; Rouse Richardson, 43; Nicole Shaw, 21; Patrisha Shelborne, 27; Candace Taylor, 25; Felix Warren, 25; and Michael Vinson, 25.
