| Man on Most Wanted Arrested in Vegas |

A fugitive from New York wanted in connection with a homicide who was featured on "America’s Most Wanted" was arrested today in Las Vegas. Joe Roman, 23, was wanted by the New York City Police Department. Police say he allegedly had a violent encounter in a crowded shopping area after one of his drug associates became involved with the girlfriend of a man named Daniel Wallace. Roman allegedly shot Wallace three times, killing him, authorities said. Roman was taken into police custody after a brief foot chase near Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Road. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center pending extradition to New York. Roman was featured on the March 13, 2010, episode of "America’s Most Wanted." The arrest was made by the Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team after a tipster provided information indicating Roman was in Las Vegas. Read More. |
