SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The Department of Corrections will provide the attorneys for a Utah death row inmate with information about the state's methods of execution. At a 3rd District Court hearing Monday, department attorneys agreed to provide information about the training and expertise of the execution team to attorneys for Ronnie Lee Gardner. The state has asked a judge to sign a warrant for Gardner's execution. A hearing is set for April 12. If the warrant is signed, Gardner must decide whether to die by firing squad or lethal injection.
