| Inmate Missing From Minimum Security Housing Unit |

(Concord, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that an inmate is reported missing from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord. Jonathan McKnight, 27, of Manchester, was present for the population count on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11:00 p.m. but was not in the building during the 1:30 a.m. count on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. At approximately 1:45 a.m. he was placed on escape status. The inmate is described as a black male, 5’ 3” tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tattoo on his neck. Inmate McKnight is serving a three to six year sentence for robbery from Rockingham County Superior Court. He entered the prison on May 13, 2008 and is eligible for parole on July 11, 2010 with a maximum release date of July 10, 2013. The Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating the incident.
