| Murderer Found Dead in Oregon Jail |

The Oregon Corrections Department says a 21-year-old murderer serving a life sentence has been found dead in his cell in the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton. Prisons spokeswoman Jeanine Hohn in Salem said Monday that Timothy Waddell was found unresponsive on Sunday. She says the manner of his death is under investigation by Corrections and Oregon State Police. Waddell was sent to prison last May 12 for the murder of Tom Green, a former Cave Junction mayor known for befriending troubled young people. Read More. |
