STOCKTON - City and San Joaquin County leaders said nothing Tuesday about the expected settlement of a lawsuit against state prison officials over a proposed inmate medical center southeast of Stockton. The Stockton City Council was considering its course in closed session late Tuesday. The silence leaves it unclear what will come of the litigation that local leaders and the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce filed late last year against prison health care receiver J. Clark Kelso and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The suit is over the proposed California Medical Center, Stockton.
