Forrest City, AR - Two St. Francis County methamphetamine labs are out of commission after the sheriff’s department made three arrests Wednesday.

According to reports, investigators went to the home of Chester Frost Jr., 58, 6930 Hwy. 284, Forrest City, around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, after receiving a telephone call that there was a meth lab at the home. Deputies reported that when they arrived, Frost was walking across the yard carrying a 20-ounce bottle and a plastic bag. He reportedly he threw the bag and bottle to the ground when he saw law enforcement. Frost allegedly told investigators that the bag and bottle was a meth lab and that he’d just finished using it.

Deputies said Frost then gave them permission to search his residence and shop where they allegedly found more paraphernalia used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Frost was taken into custody Wednesday at his home and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture. He was released on his own recognizance Wednesday. The report said Frost has been arrested and sentenced to the Department of Corrections on similar charges for incidents dating back to 1994.

Investigators also arrested two people about 4 p.m. yesterday at a home on County Road 316. According to the report, deputies went to the home at 333 SFC 316 after receiving a tip that there was a meth lab there. When investigators knocked on the door, Betty Sue Busby, 52, answered, and deputies said they could smell a strong chemical odor coming from the home. Ralph Elliott also came to the door.

Has your insurance claim been denied after business interruption or a storm? Regrettably this is all too common. That’s why it is important to contact an insurance claim attorney to explain your legal rights to determine if your insurance company unlawfully denied, delayed or diminished your claim to coverage under your insurance policy.
