An inmate who escaped from the prison in Michigan City was last seen in Illinois. The 30-year-old inmate escaped from farm detail Friday at Indiana State Prison’s Summit Farm in Center Township. According to Summit Farm Superintendent Cecil K. Davis, the inmate, Jason Garmon, walked away from his working unit at 500 W. 250 North in the morning or early afternoon.
