Child Rapist Serving 2 Life-Sentences

"There are certain crimes for which there are no second chances," Tulsa County District Judge William Kellough said before sentencing Brandon Brixey, 27.

Brixey brought his trial to a halt last month when he pleaded guilty to six felonies. He had no plea deal with prosecutors regarding his sentencing.

Kellough imposed life sentences on each of two counts of first-degree rape, 30 years in prison for lewd molestation, 25 years for kidnapping, 20 years for robbery and 10 years for eluding police.

He ordered that the prison sentences run consecutively, a punishment that Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris said ensures that Brixey "will die in the penitentiary."
