MONTVILLE, Conn. -- A proposed sex offender facility has stirred controversy in Montville. The facility would house about two dozen convicts, but many people in town say they're planning to fight the facility opening. Montville residents have circulated about 150 petitions fighting the sex offender housing and drew a map showing all of the schools, day cares and homes near the proposed facility. The current plan would build the halfway house outside the Corrigan-Radgowski prison home. "They're going to have to go through a lot of people to do that because the people in Montville are not going to allow this to happen, mark my words," said Town Council member Dana McFee.
