A guard at the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill suspected of supplying inmates with marijuana and cell phones has been suspended, and a Harrisburg barber accused of being an accomplice is behind bars, authorities said.

Kevin K. Atkins, no age or address given, is identified in court documents as the corrections officer who state police said they suspect was smuggling the contraband into the prison. Authorities said they became aware of the operation through an inmate’s tips.
