| FL Woman Kicks Out Police Window, Arrested For DUI |

A woman who was apparently upset about being arrested for DUI also was charged for allegedly using her feet to push out the back window of a patrol car. She also was accused of using her hands and feet to battle with officers while she was being arrested. Johnson Chiquita Maria Johnson, 21, of 700 S.W. 62nd Blvd., was arrested on Sunday afternoon on charges of DUI, battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, criminal mischief, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest without violence and resisting arrest with violence. Johnson was arrested at 3101 N.E. 15th St. after an off-duty Florida Department of Corrections officer told police that he had to drive off the road to avoid a crash with the white Toyota Johnson had been driving. The officer, Otis Arness Thomas Sr., works at Gainesville Correctional Institution. According to arrest reports by Gainesville Police Officers Keith Carlisle and Kelly Weaver, while Weaver was talking to Johnson, "she began to yell loudly at other drivers and draw a crowd."
