NATCHEZ — A jail inmate is back in his cell after a failed suicide attempt likely inflicted by a smuggled razor blade. Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said Sherman Rose was taken to a local hospital where he received a few stitches on his wrist. “It wasn’t anything serious or life threatening,” he said. “But he’ll be put on suicide watch.” Read More. |
