| Two escapees from Foothills prison captured in Georgia |

RALEIGH - Police in Fulton County, Georgia captured inmates Brandon Curry and Justin Ramey Thursday evening. The two escapees were driving on Interstate 20 just outside Atlanta in a truck believed to have been stolen from the area surrounding the prison unit near Morganton. The pair escaped Wednesday night from the minimum-security unit at Foothills Correctional Institution in Morganton. Both inmates are from Cleveland County. Curry, 21, was serving 7 to 9 years for robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony breaking & entering and possession of stolen goods. He was scheduled for release in Jan. 2015. Ramey, 23, was serving 9 to 11 months for felony breaking & entering, possession of stolen goods and various misdemeanors. He was scheduled for release in July 2010. |
