HAMILTON (AP) — A 45-year-old Florence woman has been charged with sending prescription pain pills to her husband at an addiction treatment center by sewing them into the lining of a coat. Teresa Rosanne Ellis appeared before Ravalli County Justice of the Peace James Bailey on Friday. Her bail was set at $3,500. Court records say authorities found the six hydrocodone pills hidden in the lining of a hooded jacket that Ellis sent to Cheyney Ellis while he was at the Watch East facility in Glendive. Watch East is a treatment center for people convicted of felony drunken driving run by Community, Counseling and Correctional Services under contract with the Department of Corrections. Read More. |
